Television, Marquee Moon, March 1977
Moody New York intellectuals Television finally release their debut album 'Marquee Moon' on Elektra in the UK today (was released last month in the USA). It's been described as "epic songs of death, war, love and hate" and with the title track coming in at just under 10 minutes you can see why.

finish off 2 days in the studio with Chris Thomas ('Bollocks' producer) They apparently all hate Chris Thimas (snigger). Could this be a sign of some product on the way?

Buzzcocks
re-shuffle their line-up with the addition of new bassplayer, Garth Smith. Pete Shelley takes over vocals/guitar while Steve Diggle moves to additional guitar. The new line-up will make it's debut later this month supporting The Clash.
