Bonb Andrews, Generation X floored by a missile - (Don't Care collection)Generation X and The Boys play Leicester University tonight. It's a rowdy gig with objects like plastic cups and beer cans getting launched at the bands. During Generation X's set, guitarist Bob Andrews gets hit on the head with a full beer can and is taken to hospital for stitches. The culprits were thought to be Led Zeppelin fans. Punk Rock bands were attracting this kinda responce from the UK tours they were now undertaking and they were quickly becoming the whipping posts of certain factions of the audiences rage.

It's becoming a very busy week for Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols. Today he appears before Great Marlborough Street Majistrates Court, London for the possesion of Speed .He is fined fined £40. Mr Rottten and the bands solicitor Stephen Fisher celebrate outside court.
